From: Matthew Edwards The trouble is that even if any such film did exist nobody would believe that Joseph Spence could play the guitar the way he did and also sing in his unique fashion. Perhaps Sam Charters did make such a film, but the viewers all had to be referred to the famous Massachusetts State Home for the Bewildered after witnessing the guitar techniques involved - apart from a certain Ryc Ooder who the authorities would still like to interview. |
