BS: Happy St Tibbs Eve

Bathsheba Everdean and Isolde of the White Paws would like to send their very best purrs and miaows to all other Pussy Cats via their Mudcat staff for St Tibbs Eve. They would like to encourage more people to get their staff to celebrate St Tibbs Eve instead of, or as well as, New Year. Their Mum and Uncle Jon are having a St Tibbs Eve dinner tonight complete with a huge salmon which the cats are taking in turns watching to make sure it isn't lonely. So, all pussy cat owners please give you cats an extra hug and whisper Happy St Tibbs Eve to them and they will reward you with the biggest purrs you have heard in a long time. By the way, don't worry if you don't know the exact timing of St Tibbs Eve ~ your cats do!

Why thank you!

I know that Shelley will greatly appreciate the good wishes sent by Bathsheba Everdean and Isolde of the White Paws and she reciprocates in kind.

Here's to a warm lap, a bowl of good food and a well-trained human!

What more could she wish for?

Best wishes for St.Tibbs Eve,

Peter

The Apple tree Man knows when St Tibbbs Eve is, but he won't tell the kitten from the farm............You get off home my dear!

Loki, Pixel, Apollo, and Persephone, send warm greetings and best wishes to all other felines, and their staff.

Wassail!! Chris

...dinner tonight complete with a huge salmon which the cats are taking in turns watching to make sure it isn't lonely...

I nominate this thread for Best Mudcat Thread of 2007.

Thanks so much for the paradigm shift. Staying home New Year's Eve sounds like a drag, but one would NEVER think to go out on St. Tibbs Eve, unless one were a cat in heat or a tom looking for one! Staff-- no need to go out! :~)

Isis and Atticus suspect we may be getting smarter. I'm sure they will tell us what to do with the new brains.

Our St Tibbs Eve party was wonderful.. Both Isolde of the White Paws and Bathsheba Everdean are sleeping off the excesses of the bill of fare. Us humans? We've just had bacon rolls for breakfast and now for the clearing up.....

Shelley is quietly sleeping on the sofa...but...suspiciously....there is a tiny selection of coloured streamers tucked between her paws!

Best wishes,

Peter

Boudicca and The Yentle send best wishes to all. They spent the night on the servants bed after a fun round of killing ornaments and knocking them off the tree. Those canine spies ate them and got in MORE trouble, mwwwwaaaahhhhhhaaaa!

No food goodies tho, the servants say we are fat.

Our familiars, Maisie and Smutts, wish all other Mud Cats a Happy New Year.

They are not looking forward to Twelvetide, for there will be no more glass balls to pull off the Yule tree.
