Haha!

My answer: a dozen or so carrying signs telling why they will NOT screw in a lightbulb.

Or...maybe something that says how they can't fit enough of them IN a lightbulb to have a good screw!**bg**

How many psychotherapists does it take to change a lightbulb?

One to screw it in , another to ask how he felt about it?

That joke must go back to Edison's day.
Here in Alberta, I remember it was told 50 years ago -by the Hutterites about the Ukrainians and vv.
(At least I assume it was the same. Punchline- one to hold the bulb and 40 to turn the house around.)

One to screw it in, and the rest to say how much better their jokes were over the years than any stupid lightbulb jokes.

I understand that the striking writers have been chanting on the picket line,

"What do we want?"
"Residuals!"
"When do we want them?"
"Later!"

I think the answer is the usual - one.

They're striking writers, not striking light-bulb fitters.

Since the creative accounting practices of these studios and producers will always come up with a zero balance when it comes time to consider paying anyone else a profit for their work, the writers had better keep twiddling their thumbs instead of screwing around with words.

Okay, back to the levity.

If creative accounting is just making it up as you go along, how come you need to go to university and pass exams to be an accountant...

And how come so many people run away from accountancy to join the circus - like Les Barker.

Mind you, former British Prime Minister John Major actually ran away from the circus to become an accountant.... go figure!

Annie Hoo.... why can't someone pay me lots of money to make up figures? I'm good at making stuff.

AH - that uni course includes - creative mendacity, massage of figures and not the curvey kind, sychophancy is optional.

How many engineers? - well is that little edison screw, std, bayonet, telephone, or wire end? And will that be tungsten, sodium, mercury vapour, or even LED?

PIR or not?

I'll get my coat.............

Thanks for the tip Liz.

Let's see. Right. 218; 43766; 24; 5+6= whatever;433-1= - erm - 432, roughly.

That took at leasst a minute - £400 ph divided by 60 = £6.ugggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh, ;et's say, 67; tell you what, call it a fiver and we won't tell the writers.

He would have a sign with nothing on it. perfectly clear. And obvious.

Maybe striking writers would have very handsome signs.

(I can wait. Take your time)
