Ry Cooder recorded "There's A Bright Side Somewhere", as did Revd. Gary Davis et.al., but I CANNOT find the lyrics on the i-net. Can anyone please help?

There's a scene in Hard Times (THe Streetfighter) where a New Orleans Pentecostal Church Choir performs a gospel song with a verse, I recall, which contains the line you're asking about. You never know. Good hunting.

Peace: thanks for the link.

THERE'S A BRIGHT SIDE SOMEWHERE
As sung by Reatha Pearl Marshall
at the Florida Folk Festival, White Springs, Florida, 1976.

1. There's a bright side somewhere.
There's a bright side somewhere.
I'm gonna keep searching until I find it.
There's a bright side somewhere.

2. There is more love somewhere.
There is more love somewhere.
I'm gonna keep searching until I find it.
There is more love somewhere.

3. There's got to be more joy somewhere.
There is more joy somewhere.
I'm gonna keep searching until I find it.
There is more joy somewhere.

REPEAT VERSE 1 TWICE.

[I might add, that recording is an example of a capella singing at its finest.]
