I believe she went to Russia as a caller on a "Dance for Peace " tour a decade or so ago. (does anyone know if this is the case?) She had a song entered into a contest for songs about Yellowstone and Tetons. You can listen to it here: www.westernfolklife.org I recall years (30-40) a singing group from Pennsylvania-the (someone) Penn. Singers. There was a songbook on the piano of their music in my childhood home. Does anyone know the name of that person and the relationship (if any) with Connie? I believe Connie has been discussed here before, but I heard her again sing with Skip Gorman and became re-acquainted with her. any more info from anyone on these folks? see also: www.skipgorman.com |

The woman singing on the westernfolklife site is definitely not the Connie Dover I know, whose website doesn't mention anything about being a caller, or about a trip to Russia.
