I recently heard in a stor some fragments of a lovely old spiritual, lines of which included "after the bend in the road" -- the voice was a deep rich Paul Robeson type (though not Robeson I think). I know it is old -- 30's, 40's -- it was being broadcast on a store Ipod hookup, so no one in the store had the slightest idea what it was, nor could they go back and replay it.
