this reminds me of a "conversation" with my nephew a year or so ago. At least we had a real conversation when we spoke on the weekend, but he is 16 now.

He's not all bad, Sandra - that's a game of Scrabble in front of him towards the end!

but is he making real words? My sister always finished her cross words & only later confessed years later that she often put random letters in words that she couldn't get!

Peter Denahy was interviewed on our local radio station (the 702 mentioned in some of the comments) & said the boy was an actor send from a casting agency.

Some of his other songs are good too. I liked the Ringing of the Steel and the Man Who Pulls The Beer. He plays a decent fiddle too. I just realised that he's at the Burke & Wills winery festival on the 8th - I get there on the 10th, I might get to meet him.

I thought this thread of mine had sunk never to be seen again & the song is far too good to be forgotten, so it's good to have your endorsement, George.

speaking of endorsement, last night when I was telling the audience at the Kieran Halpin concert about your forthcoming visit, our MC Jane added her bit about being very impressed when she saw you at the National when you were last here (were your ears burning from all the praise?)
