06 Feb 08 - 04:22 PM (#2255302) Subject: RE: BS: Rewarding thread From: katlaughing Ah, Jacqui, that's adorable. Good for your grandson! My grandson is a fan of Futurama. Not sure if that's good or not, but he did quote "Bender" the smart-alek robot from same and told me, yesterday, "Man, you need to slow down and r-e-l-a-x!" It worked, I did! I landed a very important, to me, volunteer editing gig, yesterday, too. It is very gratifying in that I will be giving back to an org. from which I have learned the basis of my adult life. |

13 Feb 08 - 03:21 AM (#2261160) Subject: RE: BS: Rewarding thread From: GUEST,LTS pretending to work I got in to work today with a lovely glow, knowing that yesterday I spent the whole working day pushing other people's furniture around and that my new desk is in the sun. Then I found someone had stolen my bin. But best of all, Limpit came home from France on Monday, covered in laurels and brandishing a certificate that states she was the best at scaring other children, in the highest pitched, scariest voice... My job here is done. LTS |
