I hope that everybody from then will chime in again. (I'll excuse Rick Fielding. Under protest.) Michael Smith is booked into Juneau on February 11. It will be at a smallish church- seats about 130. It's the same church that our folk club, Gold Street Music, utilizes. I'll be doing the door. When you walk in, identify yourself and I'll pay your way in. *g* I'm really looking forward to this. I hate listening to performers who scarcely know what town they are in. And Smith is a very aware preson. It was a great night and he had the crowd (and it was a good crowd, more than a hundred people) in his hand from the first number. I sold 29 CDs of his- the company sent only his most recent CD 'Such Things are Finely Done'. I could've sold a lot more if we'd had more. A good night. |
