Photo album of 'catters

I could swear that last night when I first discovered this mudcatters thaing, there was a thread with a link that led to a photo album of some of the group regulars. Now, I haven't a clue where or how I stumbled onto that.

Any ideas?

To find an old thread go to the box marked FILTER, type in the word PHOTO, select (in this case 3 days) and click on "REFRESH". It will then give you a list of threads with the word photo in them that have been posted to in the last 3 days. If you are seeking something and three days doesn't produce any results, then you may always increase the number of days. To save you trouble, I will attempt one of the "Blue Clicky Thingies" here. Click Here for Photos"
Welcome and enjoy!

Huh? I don't understand. Is this a Mudcatter "insider" complaint? I'm new on the block... kc

Oh, KC, Matthew is just B.ing a little impatient. He sent his picture in and it hasn't been added, yet. BillD. who built and manitains the photo album, does it on a strictly volunteer basis and I read in another thread that he and Ferrara are having some sort of software problem with their 'pewter, so.....Matthew, you will just have to hang fire a little longer. We'll still swoon, cyberly at least, when we finally get to gaze upon your visage!

KC, if you want to add your picture, just email it to BillD.; he's listed in the "send an email" part of your personal page.

Hey, Kat, m'luv:
What about us old duffers who aren't equipped to send pics via e-mail? Shucks, I can't even download most of the ones that friends send to me as atttachments. I reckon I'll have to send a "hard copy" of a thirty-five-year-old photo to Bill D and thus cyber-pretend to recover my youthful vigor!

SAndy -- I'm in the same boat, although I'm learning fast. I do have a lovely photo of me about 20 years ago that represents, if not my *actual* self, at least the me I most want others to see. Hey, living in the ether is great -- It's the Land Where We Never Grow Old! kc

Hey Sandy, before you go sending that 20 year old "James Dean" photo, I've got a few here that show the real (matured) you. Do you think Caroline would say I've got a lot of cojones (or perhaps, gall) if I submitted one of the two of you? Oops! Wait a minute, I don't know how to send them either. Guess you're off the hook.

Uh....I think BillD. still gets snail mail, too!?:-)

It's really not hard to do, if you have a scanner or digital camera. If anyone wants a rudimentary lesson, let me know.

KC the one you use here in Casper is pretty good! And, Rick and Sandy, yer darkin' mugs are all over the Internet, didn't anyone tell you? Why the Neil Young Center for the Terminally Screwed just posted new wanted posters with yer darlin' faces plastered all over them, along with Reg, Reg, and Reg, Cletus AND Paw! course the one of Reg who was a stand-in at the NYCTS looks exactly like the ones of Reg and Reg, mostly 'cause nobody's ever had a picture of all three of them together at one time. But with all that kissin' cuzzins stuff goin' on they figure they all look alike anyway, ya know? well, excepting fer their sister Earlene; now she don't look likes inny of 'em. They's rumours goin' about thet she's the spittin' image of thet traveling salesman from that ASKME company what come thru the holler a few years back when Reg, Reg, and Reg's paw was out o'town. Some phoaks says her momma too a real shine to that Mr. Slick City Man, so's ya jist never know.

So now, you two jist know that Maw is gonna keep the kettle byelin' fer ya whilst ya git all gussied up fer them high falutin' pitchers ya got git took and send to the Mudcat. Ya'll take care now, ya hear?

Rick: I thank my lucky stars for your cyber-inadequacies! One of Caroline would be okay, but let me (and KC) have my cyber-myths. You gotta remember that the person lurking behind these eyes is really the one that appears in the 35-year-old photograph (not that James Dean look-alike shot, Rick, but the "Sergeant Preston" photo on the hilltop with two of my Malamutes). Ahhhh, these precious fantasies!

Whew!! It 'pears like the folk at that Neil Young Center For The Terminaly Screwed hadn't figgered out thet I ain't there partakin' of their hospitality no more! I guess Reg puttin' thet there dummy in the bed afore he left still has them baffled. Give 'em another week or two an' one o' them hotshots will figure out he ain't moved fer a while!

Don't know if'n ya knew it or not, but the Regs's Paw dun found out 'bout thet there Mr. City Slicker feller and asked fer a deevorce from their momma. Jedge said they could deevorce if'n they wanted too, but that didn't change a thing 'bout them being brother and sister!

Hey, Y'all: I just got a note from Rita! She and Bill D are still having what Kat has called 'pewter problems. But Bill is celebrating a SDB (significant digit brithday) on the 20th of May, they need some greetings from all of the 'Catters who read this. Send 'em to their e-mail address, which seems to be working for 'em without Netscape. Try . I'll send one now, just to make sure it works.

Darn my ignorance! I entered their e-mail address as I do in regular e-missives, and it (of course) disappeared in HTML. Here's what I have for Rita: zither@erols.com. Go for it, guys.

Now I've had the pleasure of seeing some of you Mudcats in person or album covers and have to give in, your'e right, send in an old photo. It crossed my mind to find a really terrible Elvis Impersonator and submit it, but then thought folks might buy into it and think it was me.Ah...maybe when and if we get busy with a camera and the disc stuff, I have to say seeing folks in the photo album was a treat.

Sandy, I had to read your message twice... I thought it said cyber"crash", and that the link I sent you to froze your computer....

Gee, Don, I am feeling all of my 47 years... the genes from mom and dad just don't make me look that way. So, let's see, ... I was 45 in those pictures. My parents looked forever young. Lucky inheritance.

For those folk that would like to send in a photo to be added to the Mudcat Family Album, once Bill D gets himself back up and running, (No Matthew B, I know not when that will be!) I understand that many of the photo procesing places now have capabilities to put your pictures on disc, which could then be e-mailed to Bill D. I for one would like to see the album grow, but we must remember that Bill D is doing this on a volunteer basis and is currently having technical difficulties. Maybe some of the more computer literate among us could offer some sort of assistance to Bill to get him up and running again? Mine was among the last pictures to be put up, I've been known to break some cameras when folks have tried to take my picture.......Hmmmmm....I wonder....?

Banjer -

Is there anything we can do to help Bill D on this?

Matthew, I don't think so. Help has been offered to Bill D and I think he has all the software he needs, the problems seem to be internal in his BIOS and DOS. Bill D, if there is something anyone can do, please don't hesitate to let us know?
