16 Feb 08 - 08:41 AM (#2263733) Subject: RE: Selling instruments on Mudcat? From: redsnapper I had a PM exchange with Max around four years ago about this. He was not anti the idea then and said the idea had already been raised a few times but the various things happening around then meant it didn't get followed up. Personally, I think it could be a good idea and have both bought an instrument from, and sold one to, contacts on Mudcat. RS |

16 Feb 08 - 09:44 AM (#2263760) Subject: RE: Selling instruments on Mudcat? From: Les from Hull I agree. There should be a small percentage of the sale price going to Mudcat. Even not using the Auction any negotiations could be by PM (personal message), only available to 'registered' Mudcatters. There may be some reason why you've not registered yet, Tom? EtR - years ago, camping next to Napper at Holmfirth, he asked me to keep an eye on his tent while he went for a wash. When he came back I told him that somebody had got into his tent and left two more banjos! |

16 Feb 08 - 12:38 PM (#2263874) Subject: RE: Selling instruments on Mudcat? From: Big Mick Tom, we have generally not had any problem with folks selling things. It is not infra dig (love that!!) at all. We do ask that a small percentage go to Mudcat to help with upkeep, but there are no rules as to amount. We go on the honor system. Why not join? You are a solid contributor when you post. All the best, Mick |
