Fortunately they podcast, so here 'tis Bob is in Australia for the festival season, and was in Sydney last week. The other half of the program is an interview with Israeli Ladino singer, Yasmin Levy. |

We also had the pleasure of Bob's performance in Maleny, SE Qld, on the Saturday night just gone ..... though the venue staff seemed intent on doing their best to obscure the music, with their coffee-crockery-cutlery noise .... :~( However, Bob's appreciative audience still enjoyed him immensely and we look forward to another tour. It was a classic example of someone who couldn't be arsed to do the very minimum of research about their subject, typified by playing in with one of Ms Levy's self-written songs in Spanish and announcing it as traditional Ladino. It's into Bob Fox now and I've just heard him being asked if coal mining was a dying industry in the North East. Time to switch off. |
