Through half-closed eyes you told me lies and really played the part
You only meant to lead me on and capture my poor heart
Though it's a sin, some cheaters win and some day you'll know why
So please, please blue heart don't cry

My heart keeps telling me that you're for me and I'm for you
But if that's true how could you go and leave me sad and blue
A love like mine is hard to find as rainbows in the sky
So please, please blue heart don't cry

But now you've won, the damage done; I'll never be the same
I should have known right from the start you'd never want my name
For if you did I'd never have to tell my heart a lie
So please, please blue heart don't cry

Gene I never either and as far as I could find it was the last tune he recorded before he was shot and killed in 1957. I remember when it came out in 1957 and I remembered parts of the tune and the artist but until John posted the words I hadn't heard the tune for at least 40 years so I was really surprised that John found the words and you came up with a MP3.I thank both of you again

I was just a go-between in finding the song, Louie, I asked for help finding the song.

You might thank Cookie and a friend of hers for the mp3 at:
