It was excellent. I was wondering if it is still being performed or if it was ever taped or anything and what happened to the guy? |

Topic Records in London recorded Jack reading from Woody's book and singing the songs way back in the late 50's. Perhaps Tony Engle could be persuaded to re-issue it. Hoot |

The mythologizing of a person is inherent in the popularity that they have. I remember when "This Land Is Your Land" was just considered another song. Nothing special. Tom is still performing and in fact I just performed with him last night at Kinky Freidmans Smoking Lounge in Salado Texas. He did several of his Woody Guthrie tunes and is also a great story teller.
