05 Mar 08 - 08:29 PM (#2280759) Subject: RE: BS: McCain and smeg From: Q (Frank Staplin) SMEG is Smalterie Metallurgiche Emillane Guastalla, one of Italy's largest manufacturers of appliances. They sell worldwide, with branches in UK and Australia. They are often billed as leading the industry in design and aesthetics; their ranges are especially well-known but the simple, retro-style fridges were what originally made them known. In America, the name Omega is used for some if not all of their ranges and sinks. In America, showrooms are planned, but some premium appliance stores already have their products. |

07 Mar 08 - 01:33 PM (#2282248) Subject: RE: BS: McCain and smeg From: Little Hawk This is excellent. The refrigeration industry had not really addressed the longstanding problem of keeping smegma from 'going bad' before its due date. It has quite a limited shelf life. (Just ask Shane...) But now they have addressed the problem, and John McCaine is no doubt standing foursquare in support of this useful iniative. At least I hope he is. I want to see one of those fridges with the Star and Stripes motif, and I trust that McCaine will see to it ASAP. |
|
07 Mar 08 - 01:41 PM (#2282252) Subject: RE: BS: McCain and smeg From: Little Hawk I would also suggest that George W. Bush be interred in such a fridge at whatever time he leaves this world, said fridge to be placed upright in a tomb in Arlington National Cemetery, of course, as an inspiration to future generations. |
