09 Mar 08 - 06:11 AM (#2283487) Subject: Review: The Transatlantic Sessions From: Dave Hanson I watched this on BBC4 on Friday, wonderful Shetland fiddler called Jenna Reed playing the very beautiful air Hector The Hero [ James Scott Skinner ], along with Aly and the rest. I'm not a fan of dobros but Jerry Douglas raises it another ten levels, what a superb musician. On the whole a great programme. eric |
