My other oldest best friend Gordon Bok came by to visit. That's always a pleasure. Then, I was talking to Pete Seeger on the phone about a new project and told me he has just written a new song. I was very surprised and tickled pink when he sang it to me! His voice is not what it was, but it was still the great man doing it. I was thinking I would never hear him sing again. He wished me luck to get my voice back so I can sing again. What a guy! |

I said it many times over the years that if there is such a thing as an angel on earth, Pete Seeger is one of them. He is so highly evolved he is awsome.I reminded him that it was he who gave me my first banjo lesson back in Gordon Bok's living room in 1969, and all he said was, "My, that was so long ago."
