There wil be some grammar mistakes but this is a general one that I got. From: Jim Carroll It was claimed that the song was introduced into Ireland in the 1950s by Jean Richie when she was helping make all those wonderful field recordings, so presumably any translation would have to come after that. A song they are familiar with both in lyrics and air and getting them started with "easier" songs like this in Irish |
