Having been accused of throwing 'trash' at the list, I thought I'd throw some more.

I like 'em - they recorded their CD at a church just up the road from me in Whalley Range. They exist at an interesting place where folk music, pop music and art/modern classical music intersect. Apparently they're very good live. Incidently, their CD is out on Dunk Le Chunk's 'Red Deer Club' label, which means it may be a fairly limited edition - if you want one you should snap it up quickly!

Besides which, any band that uses a bassoon is alright by me.

They are certainly enthusiastic, and the music sounds like real, live, music.

I have an uncomfortable feeling that a shrewed A&R person, or even an up and coming music producer, will find them, sign them, and polish off the "rough edges"--rendering them both commercial, and completely uninteresting--
