Elizabeth Stewart unwell - Gig changes

ELIZABETH STEWART is unwell and will not be able to make the long journey down from Aberdeenshire for the two appearances that she had scheduled in the south-east of England.

These were to be :-
On Thurs April 3rd at THE ROYAL OAK, STATION ST. LEWES, E. SUSSEX
On Fri April 4th at MUSICAL TRADITIONS, KING & QUEEN, FOLEY ST. LONDON W1.

Her chest infection for which she has been on a series of antibiotics for, has now developed into water in the lungs and the doctor (and herself) definitely says she will not be able to come down.

For both appearances, she was going to be performing in the company of ALISON MacMORLAND. Now on both evenings, Alison will be performing with her usual musical partner, the fine Scots singer GEORDIE McINTYRE.

Here's hoping Elizabeth is up and about again soon. Water on the lungs is something my mother contracted once. It put her in hospital, but that was largely due to an idiot of a GP who kept insisting there was nothing wrong with her until she collapsed. In any event, she wasn't in hospital for very long and was soon fit and well again. So, touch wood.
