27 Mar 08 - 01:51 PM (#2298883) Subject: RE: BS: A Little Political Question From: Ebbie II suspect that an almost unbeatable combination on the Republican side would be McCain/Rice. Maybe not, though. If the war were still uppermost in voters' minds that would be true, I think. The word, however, is that the economy is currently of the greatest concern. And that should mean that McCain/Rice would be weak. |

27 Mar 08 - 02:31 PM (#2298912) Subject: RE: BS: A Little Political Question From: Bobert Edwards didn't even carry North Carolina in '04 so it is very unlikely he'd be chosen as a VP... Better Attorney General... The short list of VP's for Obama are Bill Richardson (my choice), Mark Warner or Jim Webb... The short list of VP's if Clinton steals the nomination are Satan, Snively Whiplash and Charles Manson... B;~) |

Plus the campaign would have to spend a fortune getting his cute little prison tattoo photoshopped off all those pictures. |

28 Mar 08 - 12:54 PM (#2299672) Subject: RE: BS: A Little Political Question From: Skivee Would Hillary look better with Richardson's beard? Would James Carville look better with Hillary's hair? Would Macain look better with Obama's jowls? Should Senator Clinton stop buying her pant suits at Target? These are all questions of substantial substance, not just appearent appearence. I blame the French...again. |

28 Mar 08 - 07:37 PM (#2300036) Subject: RE: BS: A Little Political Question From: McGrath of Harlow Time for another beard in the White House. If Clinton gets in Bill cab grow it. But I think a beard would suit Obama rather well - he looks a bit too boyish for a man of 46. A beard would add gravitas. Bushy but neatly trimmed. |
