Hi, Reeler -
He means this auction (click), with 100% of the proceeds going to support Mudcat.
Between the two of them, Kendall and Jacqui are out to sell the farm, all for the good of the 'Cat.
Thanks, Kendall.

And I think the Joe Klein biography of Woody is the best one.

Oh, that auction - wow.

And I think the Joe Klein biography of Woody is the best one.
I think so too ~ I've just bid.

I've got the Joe Klein book, a well researched, written and balanced piece of work, and also the Ed Cray one, 'Ramblin' Man'. Are there any more biographies of Woody?

There is, of course, "Bound for Glory" by Woody Guthrie. Another good one is is "This Land Was Made for You and Me" by Elizabeth Partridge. I can also recommend "Woody, Cisco, and Me" by Jim Longhi.

Thanks Phil. I have had 'Bound for Glory' since 1967, will check out the others.

There is also "Born to Win" by Woody Guthrie, "Hard Travelin'" a collection of writings edited by Robert Santelli and Emily Davidson and of course "A Mighty Hard Road" by Henrietta Yurchenko assisted by Marjorie Guthrie.

Can't think of any more at present.
