03 Apr 08 - 06:11 AM (#2305290) Subject: RE: Lincoln session this Sunday... From: GUEST,Dáithí Hi Acorn4 - it generally goes on until 6pm or so...but depends on who's there. Usually we have a couple from Nottighamshire who make the trip, and I'm hopeful that a minibus from the Mansfield Irish centre will make it this weekend too..they have a couple of fine singers and when i've been with them in the past you have to drag them away from the bar with crowbars... If you make it, come and say hello...I'll be the greying Irish whistle player with the smiggy beard! best wishes Dáithí |

Acorn4..DO hope ytou can make it from Leicester on Sunday - all set to be a cracker! Just confirmed that the Irish Association minibus will be arriving from Mansfield..with up to a dozen lovely folks on board. Played a gig for them a few weeks ago and had a great time..they've a couple of Irish speakers (learners, so don't panic!) coming for anybody who wants to practise their Gaeilge and a great couple of singers too. Get there early for a good seat would be my advice..it's usually standing room only by 4pm! Slán go fóill Dáithí |
