I am coming to believe that this man is the most skilled politician I have ever seen.

The truth is the most effective propaganda.

Obama

He certainly knows where the services are needed. I totally agree that if you want to give hope to the urban child, you have to begin with the pregnant mother.

I wonder how he intends to pay for all of that food, housing, childcare and education?

He says that the money invested pays back 10X per dollar invested.
If they deliver the right services well, he is probably right.

But I have no idea how much it costs, but I will say here and now, its a better investment in our security than the war in Iraq.

I didn't catch it al, Jack, but I did see about 10 minutes of it and thought that Obama was having some fun with the interview... Came accross as a real person...Tell ya what, John Edwards aion't got huthin' on Obama when it comes to smiling...

That's one thing they are gonna have to work hard on in the McCian camp... Smiling and making it look natural... Peiople trust folks who smile naturally more than folks with scowls on their faces... Okay, that may not be proven but they teach that in Dale Carneigia sales training... I know... I've taken a few of those courses...

Anyway, good job Barak...

B!

I saw the entire interview, and was suitably impresses with his answers. Even when he wasn't able to promise details, he had the concepts right. He simply sounds sincere and competent.
He has used the last year or so to study issues and get more depth in the areas where it was suggested he didn't have full experience...and a president MUST be able to learn very fast on the job. He certainly had understanding of economic issues that McCain admits to being weak on.

He did a very good job. Came over as very genuine and with a belief that the American people could get back on the right track, given the right conditions. He also has a good sense of humour, something that seems to be lacking in a lot of politicians.

He really does have the right idea for helping the inner cities. If he sticks to his intent to pull the troops out of Iraq that may free money up to use for the benefit of the people of the USA, not to line the pockets of the war profiteers.

If I could vote in this election he would definitely be my choice.

Whose gonna pay for all those campaign promises Dinavan? That's easy, he will simply propose raising taxes in the overtaxed Republic.

His proposal is to let the tax breaks to millionaires lapse.

Its the under taxed RepublicAN fat cats that he wants to pay their fair share.

"he will simply propose raising taxes in the overtaxed Republic."

"Believe it or not, Americans enjoy some of the lowest income tax rates in the world."

Doug old buddy, everything he proposes will cost less than this stupid war.
Plus, if he takes a page from Bush's book he will simply borrow it from China.

No one has been able to explain the difference between a tax and spend democrat and a borrow and spend republican.

Lets put some standard Rove spin on it...in a sneering voice

Hussein Obama is publicly guilty of merely sounding sincere and competent. He admits that he refuses to wear the American flag lapel pin, while his Pastor continues to Damn America and her flag.
[now repeat 1,200 on CNN NBC ABC and FOX until it becomes true]

(I hope Rove gets a stroke trying to smear Barak)

Barak should never do a photo opp in a tank wearing an oversize helmet or go wind surfing in a speedo. Actually he might look better wind surfing than Kerry did.

A borrow and spend Republican who spends $1 of borrowed money will make the nation pay back $20

A spent tax dollar will cost $1.
