17 Apr 08 - 07:07 PM (#2318787) Subject: Music & dance workshop in Kent, Saturday From: GUEST,Brass Monkey This Saturday 19th April, there is a fantastic opportunity for anyone to have taster workshops for Autoharp, Banjo (Bluegrass and frailing style), Fiddle and Appalachian dance at Rainham Oast House Community Centre (ME8 7SG; it's right next to the train station, across the level crossing)in Kent. All are welcome including total beginners. There are two workshops for the fiddle - one for beginners and one for intermediate. There will be some instruments provided - but bring your own if you have one. Hard soled shoes are needed for the dance workshop if possible. The workshops start at 10am and last all day with a concert by the professionals in the evening at 8pm if you wish to stay. The day of workshops costs £8 and the evening concert costs £8 too, or you can attend both for £15. Come along, it'll be great fun! |
