But the others - even the half-hour clips - ran fine, and I didn't have to join or do anything. Larger screen and better overall picture quality, though one film pixellated pretty badly; but surely that's down to how good the original is. UTube is full of glitches too, some of them positively baroque. Hard to judge sound over my tiny laptop speakers but it's certainly as good as UTube. I like it & will keep going back - thanks for the headsup Alice. :-) (Sal, are you on broadband or dial-up? My b/b handled it fine but it would have completely constipated my old modem.) |
