Does anyone have a copy?

Back when I was a student, back in 1970 (give or take a year) I became involved in producing a magazine called Folk Unlimited.
There were 3 others involved: the bloke whose idea it was (whose name has long left my memory banks); Tony Foxworthy looked after the trad stuff; and a singer from Royston (again no name on the rim of my memory) did the contemporary stuff.
It only ran for 2 issues and ran out of cash before we could get the 3rd out.

I was reminded of this when I was clearing out an old plan chest drawer and found some of my original illustrations, but my copies of the mag are long gone.

I spoke to Tony Foxworthy last year at Whitby, and he remembered it well, but the conversation was too brief to pursue things further.

A feature of this magazine was that the articles were written by active members of the folk scene themselves.
In these 2 issues we had features from Bridget St John, Tony Arthur and Karl Dallas among others.

If anyone has a copy that they could scan and convert to PDF, I'd be eternally grateful.

Yours in anticipation,

Splott Man

Well,I am pretty sure I have a copy in a cardboard box upstairs. But which cardboard box(and there are a lot) I am not sure. I will have a glance, but don't hold your breath!

Thanks Greg.

Gwyn Jones from Swansea is also looking out for old copies of Albion Sunrise (produced by Owen Jones of Chepstow from the 70s on) and Touch & Go (she believes it came out of Carmarthen also in the 70s).

Anyone?

Cheers,

There was also a folk magazine entitled, "S.W.A.F.F. News covering folk news in Wales during the '70's.
I believe that Taplas was its successor and is of course, still going.
