There's a Canadian Folk Festival web site called "Northern Journey Online" which has a current list of folk festivals and links to other "folk" websites, which might be helpful for you....IF...someone had the full web address and knew how to do those "blue clicky thingies".

Hi George!

I had every intention of coming up to Niagara or Toronto to see you and I hoped to bring my mother along. You know me, I am undaunted by distance. NYC to Toronto is like Cork to Ballyliffin and back again!!!

However, I am saddened to find you will not be at either over a Saturday night. To make matters worse, my mother had a fall last week and is mostly horizontal for the time being. I'm running out to see her most days.

I wish you the very best of sights and songs on your trip. I hope you'll be bitten by the travel bug and come to NYC to see us soon.

All the best,
Dan

George, I replied to your email about being in Toronto for the June 11th song circle but it was returned by your service provider.

I'll drop the same text off to you via the Mudcat message facility.

Attn Sings IrishSongs

Irish Canadian cultural club sounds interesting.

Can you give a little more information, address, venue size etc.

There are over 50 in our party but I think only a handful will be interested.

What is the format? Any singing or is it just a music session?

Thanks for your reply anyway.

I am still looking for something in Cleveland and would appreciate some info please.
