Sunday is already taken as well with some activities involving the grandkids. I'll manage one of them one of these days! |

10 Oct 02 - 05:42 PM (#800636) Subject: RE: Sunshine State Music Camp! From: harpgirl I expect to be in St. Pete this weekend for camp and I am hoping to meet some mudcatters, inclduing Banj. the concert Saturday night is $10, I think. harpgirl This weekend - October 11, 12 and 13 - is the 15th annual Sunshine State Acoustic Music Camp at the Boyd Hill Nature Park in St. Petersburg, Florida. Why not come down and join us for a great weekend of acoustic music? There are many classes offered. Dulcimer classes, for beginners and intermediates, will be taught by Linda Collins and Jon Kay from White Springs. In addition to strumming, each will focus on their specialty: flat-picking for Linda and finger-picking for Jon. There will be four hours of classes on Saturday, a dulcimer ensemble on Sunday morning, and two more hours of classes in the afternoon. An instructors' concert is planned for Saturday evening, and there will be lots of time to jam, with a wide range of musicians. Camping is available on-site; however, there are no hookups. Check out the web site at: http://ssamc.cjb.net. |
