Excerpt:

Police say a man was severely injured Thursday when he threw himself into a wood chipper in Roseville.

Crews were clearing trees in a public area when the man appeared and jumped head first into the chipper. He was rushed to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with injuries to his head and torso.

Police are calling it a suicide attempt and say the man is 19 to 21 years old.

Suicide attempt or was he just hoping to get on an episode of "Jackass"?

The St. Paul Pioneer Press has more details, for the morbidly curious. (I guess that includes me.)

Certainly worth considering for all blockheads intending to cast their votes in the forthcoming elections.

Gee, Ack, that includes a greater number of American citizens than any time in our history. You wouldn't be sort of anti-social, would you? A bit sociopathic, even? Narcissistic? Obsessively self-righteous? Defensive? Paranoid?

Or just an ornery, run of the mill people-hater?

Or you could get over yourself, Amos. That would be the helpful and cheery thing for you to do. Come on, why not give it a try?

And leave those of us who live on the darker side of life to our evil ways?
