Spoof sheet music

I did have a link some years ago to a spoof page of sheet music, extremely complex but amusing. Can anyone recognise it from this description and find it again please, as I have lost it.

I think it had notes like 'add bicycles' ...

I have a paper copy of this somewhere! Was it "The Faerie..." something? And it called for a battery of 12th-century lutes, among much else? Can't even remember where I saw it - musician's union mag? Will come back to you if I can be of any more use -

Is this what you were thinking of? It's the one I have:

I found a number out on the web; "Fairy's Aire and Death Waltz" and several others.

Fairy's Aire and Death Waltz was the one I wanted (and is the one in the link above).

Might be interesting to see the otheres too.

Nice to see concertinas get a mention, too

Oh, thanks for posting that (both pages)! I had seen it some time ago but lost it again and forgotten all about it. It's had me hooting with laughter all over again, and this time I've printed it off to keep for a time when I need cheering up. Brilliant stuff.

The author, John Stump, has a web site.

and he is quoted on concertina.net:

'I am currently distributing
"The Faeries Aire and Death March"
and
"Prelude and The Last Hope in C and C# Minor"
in beautiful 11 X 17 inch sturdy laminated sets, impervious to peanutbutter & jelly sandwich fingers, or bagel&creamcheese&jelly fingers. These laminated sheets, when held firmly between the fingers and waved in the air, make a most wonderful "woop - woop - woop" accompaniment suitable for folkOrkestral or avantGarden Symphonic concerti or concertinas.

These are published in accord with John's Copyright ownership.
The price is $25 for both, plus shipping/handling . $15 each singly.

For distributors and teachers and musical directors volume discounts are negotiable.'

Seems to me I have an "O'Carolan" spoof in my archives -- not sure who the author is. Similar idea. I only have hard copy -- if I had a file on the computer, I could probably find it. Sigh.

Wonderful,

now where is the Over the Waterfall sheet music which behaves like it's name and falls off the page?

No triangle! What is it with the No triangle?
I studied geometry for 10yrs (typically Tuesday afternoons under Miss Fondelworthy - dont go there)
only to find triangles not needed !!!
Makes a guy wanna give up and learn the shaky egg instead.

Now all we need is the MIDI file...

Sadly - "Over The Waterfall" seems to be a popular title... probably hence the parody...

That looks just a little difficult for a solo whistle !

Of course there's no triangle - it's a weapon of maths instruction.
