Would anyone know if Pete still has his Myspace page? I've searched for it, but so far, had no luck. Many thanks.

He's sharing one with other Harbourtown artists.

Thank you, Diane.

However, why is he 'sharing' a site? Pete's music stands strongly on its own. He should have his own site. He used to, but I believe he lost his password to his old page. He then made a new one, but it seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

Pete Morton's OLD myspace page

I'm about to add the Harbourtown site to mine though. Good to see Janet Russell on there, another fine artist and strong songwriter.

That's the one, Tom. Thank you.

Pete's still not got round to putting his music on there though. That's a crying shame, his songs are so strong. They need to be heard.

Going back to the Harbourtown link, above. Through that, I've just discovered the voice and talent of Nick Hennessey. He too should definitely have his own myspace page, but thanks go out to Harbourtown for bringing his voice out.

Hi Villain,

On Pete's OLD page, no-one can join as 'friends' as he's lost the password to that page, that's why it has not been opened since 2006.

His new page, which Pete does visit, I think, as the last visit was 23rd May 2008, is the page he should have the music on, but seems to have forgotten to upload it. That is the page people will find, although they will only find it through googling 'pete morton songs myspace' because 'pete morton myspace' takes you to someone called Peter Morton.

Perhaps Pete should have a link to his new Myspace page, on his main site? His songs are far too good to lose in the internet maze.

Pete Morton/Main Site

Confused, Villain? I can't think why. *smile*

Janet Russell, to follow on from a comment earlier in this thread, has a remarkably fine new CD out on Harbourtown. Don't know if ashe has a Myspace page, but the CD is well worth seeking out

I am reminded of Pete again today reading the sad story of stoaways in Scotland, his song "Shores of Italy" broaches a similar subject of those dying in search of a better life.
