BS: Muckety.com

For those who just can't get enough politics, paper trails, and who knows, maybe information from behind the green baize door, here it is.

Muckety.com

I stumbled upon this, and have had fun rearranging these interactive charts. I found it while doing a simple search on a Dallas businessman who built a beautiful private library and lets groups tour it. It doesn't target just liberal or conservative or even just magnates or politicians, it seems to get a good mix of everybody.

The site also has a clever way of telling you about itself. And there's an apparent surprise right there.

This one is kind of like when you bring up Google Earth or Maps and start peering down on the streets and lakes and mansions below. It lets you crawl around board rooms and news rooms and is interesting to track down names and connections. The closest other site I've found to do this is Google Sets.

You have to spell the name correctly, it won't offer you corrected possibilities. Enter Rupert Murdock with a K instead of an H Murdoch and you won't get anywhere. It does offer you choices if you're close to several possibilities. Bill Gates is the III, etc.

Type in Pete Seeger then click on Woody Guthrie and then Leadbelly and it really takes off. This place is a hoot! (so to speak!)

I'll run this back up to the top. I think once someone tries this site they'll see why I posted as an interesting discovery.

I agree; both those sites are interesting. I've bookmarked them for further exploration later.

I've been in there a couple of times, Stilly and I'll be going again. Lots to read.

It's interesting how some of those lines criss-cross between individuals and corporations.
