I seem to recall a music hall setting and some bloke singing it, could be in a cockney accent. I think it is a memory from my long distant past as a child, if not I must have been dreaming again. In the words of another refrain, "Fings ain't wot they used to be" anymore LOL. |

He looked wonderful, flat cap and muffler and even a glass of stout, or Manns Brown Ale which he kept gazing into philosophically. It was only when he moved the glass towards him to get a better view of the text that we realised he had the words stuck on the back of the glass, hidden by the beer! |
