Pyrates Royale Bermuda Cruise 2009 Updat

(I've tried to post this 2 times today. If they all eventually shiow up, please ignore the other two.

FYI, the arrangements are much firmer now. We'll be leaving from Baltimore on July 19th of next year. We'll spend 4 days at sea and 3 in port. We believe that this will allow for more substance than than the "hit and run" port-vaulting of the 2007 trip.
The rates for passengers have been set. The price of an inside cabin is $1550 per person and an ocean view cabin is $1800 per person. This is slightly lower than our original estimates. 2007 cruisers and children under 18 will get a $25 discount. Prices includes taxes, port charges, gratuities, cruise cabin (base rate), band and ship activities.
Our travel agent would like those considering to stand up and be counted.
Contact our travel agent at adam@greenbelttravel.com. for more details.
I also have an email address set aside for trip matters: Skivee3@aol.com.
Keep yer powder dry.

I suppose knowing where the hell you're going might be a useful promotional tool?

Amos, I guess I thought that including the name of the island "Bermuda" in the thread title was a broad hint, as the island just ain't that big compared to the Atlantic oceans.
To correct that error, let me just say that we have decided to make the destination of the "Pyrates Royale Bermuda Cruise 2009" Bermuda.
Also, it will be in 2009. And there will be a ship involved.

Ah, crossed posting.
We will be leavinng from the port of Baltimore. It's convenient to most of our fans.
We will be in port at King's Wharf for three days. Several of the folks who took our cruise last year to the Western Carribean found that the "spend 4 hours in a Belise shopping mall decorated with mayan motiffs" experience pretty superficial.
We will be docked near the maritime museum on the west end of the island. Our guests will be able to spend as much time as they want exploring Bermuda and return to the ship whenever they feel like it.

Will you be hijacking or ramming English cruise ships and taking hostages, as we plan to do on our Irish music cruise in January, Skivee?

Just as I hijacked your cruise thread? *G* Sorry...

We find that politeness and a good heart go a long way towards furthering our goals. Most ship's captains will gladly turn over the vessel if you just ask nicely...and if they don't, there's always the "punch to the groin" approach.
We should compare cruise notes at some point.
P.S. Charlie Z says hello.

Pyrates with good hearts and politeness?
What's the world coming to??

"S'cuse me captain..permission to board your vessel, and loot and plunder? Would you mind stepping out on this plank, please?"

You sound like a bunch of Canadians.

You got it in one. We also disguise ourselves with Tim Horton Coffee mugs. They don't figure out that we aren't Canadian until we are on board. Pretty smart, eh?

Skivee, it's pretty awkward drinking from a Tim Horton coffee mug with a hook for a hand, eh?

And of course, all pyratical activities cease for Hockey night in Canada, eh?

Molson's Grog in Tim Horton coffee mugs...we're onto something here!

Yeah, how 'boot those Leafs, eh?

Remember when they could play hockey, eh?

My idea of a dream cruise would be Pyrates AND Seamus; *NOT* during my faire season....

My idea of a dream cruise would be the Pyrates Royale and MMario chained to oars below decks, while I beat the big kettle drum screaming "Faster, you bastards! The cap'n wants to go water-skiing!"

Then afterwards, we all sit around sipping exotic adult beverages with little umbrellas in them, singing songs of the sea.

Ahhh!

As I recall, one awkward part aboput last year's cruise was that we didn't know how much to tip you. I mean, it was kinda like you were being a musician, but we certainly didn't like your work.

Skivee, you're not supposed to tip the drummer; you tip the guy with the cat o' nine tails.

Nice to see you got your cookie back.

One doesn't ever tip one's ship, at least not too far (15% is acceptable), lest one scuttles it! With the exception of, maybe, a canoe, especially if one should want to lay tile in it. A tip of a hat or an iceberg is permittable, though.

Tipping drummers only leads to them getting delusions of being Gene Krupa, or Keith Moon. Not a good move for a galley slave.
