Arge, Avast there, Mudcat'ers showed up on the f'deck at Quinns to enjoy the fine tunes of The Sons Of the Buckineers.

Let's see, there was Bseed (Charles), Me Fadac (Ralph), Now is when my write only memory comes in. Uh, Dave and Sonja. (heh heh, thanks Bseed, no need for killing.)

Anyway, I'd like to invite any MudCaters that happen to find themselves in the San Francisco area on a lonly thursday night, to stop by Quinns Lighthouse.

Oh, If you get there before six pm, they have a great happy hour. Miniture tacos, meatballs, and corndogs. Bar food at its very best. That's why I didn't have any dinner. (urp!)

Congratulations to the San Francisco Mudcat Contingent.

Ain't it great to get together with people you only knew through cyberspace! It is amazing how much like their postings they really are!

Keep on 'Cattin'

I live in San Francisco. Where is Quinn's Lighthouse?

Quins lighthouse. Restruant and Bar and music place. It's on the Okland Riveria. The phone number is: (510) 536-2050.

The sea chantys are done on Thursday nights, 8pm to 10pm. Try and get there by 7 pm, Seating is very limited. It was just plane luck that I was able to hold a few seats for Bseed, Dave, Sonja.

BTW I bought Skip Henderson's CD. It's not bad. Well worth the $15.00. But then I'm a sucker for homespun cds. I buy them all the time at the Scottish games.

See you there.

And a good time was had by all. I was out of my league. Fadac & Sonja & 'Seed know which fork to pick up, and they use napkins and stuff. I'm really going to have to class up my act.

Yeah, but Fadac uses his napkin as dental floss (more gratuitous smart-assishness). For background on Mudcat i n the Lighthouse, here's a

bodacious blue clicky thang

Seed,

Your blue clicky thing is out of whack. You put two periods after www, so my browser says it can't find the site www..mudcat.org. A repost might be in order. And if you have time, a repast would be in order, too. Time for breakfast here in Balmer.

Which fork to pick up!! Napkins??? Am I to understand that I won't be able to "super-size" my meal for an extra 39 cents? I'm not used to eating any place that doesn't have a sign which reads,"No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service".

I fixed Seed's blue clicker, and the thread it led to piqued my interest. I went looking for that lighthouse a year ago, and ended up lost in a very evil-looking neighborhood. I'll make sure I follow the directions. Don't know if I'll have tome to go until I retire in October, but it sure sounds like fun. It's nice to see we finally have a number of Mudcatteers here in Northern California. For a long time, it was just Seed and me, and we've never met.
