I'm trying to find it for a bloke who lives in a remote part of Ireland whose mother used to sing it to him, perhaps in the '40s or '50s, but he can't remember it now or find it written or recorded anywhere. I've looked in plenty of songbooks, catalogues and libraries with no luck, tried the database and had the forum search give me a lot of error messages so no luck there either. Yet. All help or ideas gratefully appreciated. Cheers, Liz |
