07 Jul 08 - 07:32 PM (#2383371) Subject: RE: BS: Sewage Plant? From: Jim Dixon I seem to recall Michael Moore has a sewage pumping station somewhere named after him, and that he took it in good humor, and even went to the dedication. Or am I confusing him with someone else? I looked for, but couldn't find, any confirmation of this on the Internet, and I'm beginning to wonder if I got it confused somehow. Stephen Colbert, maybe? Does anybody remember hearing of anything like this? |

Take everything from 1980 on, revoke it, and start over from where we were: high inflation, high unemployment, high gas prices, high food prices.... |

08 Jul 08 - 09:27 AM (#2383716) Subject: RE: BS: Sewage Plant? From: Charley Noble "...an idea whose time has come?" I really hate such sentence fragments. The full sentence should be: "...an idea whose time has come to pass?" I fully expect this petition referendum to move on with the grace and speed of the digestive system itself, with similar results. Imagine the opening ceremony, the dignitaries and engineers all flushed with success, the peal of trumpets and the blare of kazoos. Cheerily, Charley Noble |
