11 Jul 08 - 03:09 AM (#2386315) Subject: Musical themes for chapter names pls From: pavane I am writing a biography of a 17th Centruy ancestor who was a poet, playwright, minister of the Reformed religion, and writer. He travelled widely through Europe, visiting the courts of Kings and Princes, writing books describing his travels. He lived for a time in Amsterdam, Paris, Geneva and finally Celle. I am looking for help to find chapter names which are musical references. For example, I already have "Poems, prayers and promises" and "Kings and vagabonds". Does anyone have suggestions for chapters which are currently headed "Early life" and "later life"? |

16 Jul 08 - 02:23 AM (#2390368) Subject: RE: Musical themes for chapter names pls From: pavane Dave No reason, I am just looking for relevant quotes. They are actually a mix of old and new. For example, I have already used Lowlands of Holland and High Germany. Modern songs might also be more recognisable today. |
