Hello. I have heard that Alastair McDonald once recorded a L.P. with political songs, that told the listener to vote for the Scottish Nationalist Party.
I think that would be quite interesting to hear, and I wonder if anyone has got the title for this LP, so that I could look for it at eBay etc...

It's probably the one I wrote and produced way back in the 60s called Scotland First. I don't know if I have any file copies but email me at JawMac@aol.com and I'll have a look in the morning.

Yes,
It's titled "Scotland First" on Nevis (NEVC108). I have it on casette, was probably also an LP.

Alastair McDonald is a Scottish folk singer, he'll be performing at the Marymass folk festival this year in Irvine (Scotland) the festival itself starts on the 20th of August and finishes on the 24th of August, he will be there and so will other folk singers and groups as well, if you want to find out more about it then go to the Irvine folk club website.
