Interestingly, some fairly accurate uses of labels for different types of music.

WE've been going to this festival for the past few years and its well worth it.

The open session on saturday afternoon were all can "sing in union" is friendly and with a wide variety of music styles from teenage rappers to folk and beyond.

Not forgetting that this festival also celebrates the lives of the Tolpuddle Martyrs. You can find more of their story at the TUC website.

Cider and sun in the midst of the Dorset countryside.

Hi Geoff,
Yes both of us. Could we miss this? We haven't missed one in I don't know how many years! It looks as if we might only make the Sunday this year, though, but we are hoping to get up on Saturday. Jon will be somwhere around our national banner and if I'm not on the stall or walking in the procession just look for NASUWT SW Banner and you'll find us. you are right about the martyrs. The most moving part of the whole weekend for me is the procession of wreatrhs and flowers that we take to James Hammet's graveside. Says it all.

Whalers are gigging on sunday so we'll miss the parade this year. Come to think of it the Whalers are giging on Saturday eve as well so I will have to watch the cider in the afternoon !

Trouble makers? No, just ordinary men who wanted a fair deal. They were actually found guilty of swearing an oath and transported for that. After they had been transported it was discovered that the masons also swore an oath very similar and as royalty had also sworn the same oath they had their sentence quashed.
