From: Liz the Squeak Sometimes you can get a swap on the gate, but the distances involved are such that unless you have severe difficulties, it's not that far - only another couple of hundred yards. Having camped on both sites 1 and 2 over several years, I can honestly say there is very little difference in noise levels at night if that is your problem. Site 2 can be quieter if you go down the far end but really, the sound carries so well there that if the wind is in the right direction, you can hear the 'Arts Festival' in the village pub. If you are with a group of people and don't want to be separated, then sometimes swaps can be made on site. LTS |
