The Young'uns in England, These United States from America. As you might expect, I never read or heard about them from our media: I just ran into them at festivals. More confidence, better stage presence, even some experimentation with the harmonies. They have far to go yet, I am sure. They'll be filling marquees in a few short years. But somehow, right now (and even 9 months ago) there is a rawness and infectious enjoyment to their sound, which I hope they will not lose. Great evening! |
