Thanks guys for letting me tag along. 3 excellent gigs, pity about the weather and the poor turnout at the Gathering but you did yourselves proud. Roll on next year when you maybe do it again!. 11 Aug 08 - 03:03 AM (#2410292) Subject: RE: DMcF Band Aug Scottish Dates From: HipflaskAndy Thanks BBP - grand DMcF band Scottish mini-tour indeed. The 2 inches of rain overnight and torrential downpour on the morning of the Border Gathering was a bit of a dampener indeed! The organisers said they only got hundreds where they usually get thousands - but it came out sunny in the end - and those hundreds had a good un! We sure did! 'Fish and chip'???? Just the one chip, eh? That's how they do it in Lincolnshire, is it? - hah! Cheers - Duncan |
