06 Aug 08 - 10:49 AM (#2406537) Subject: RE: BS: Truck Accessories From: Amos LOL!! Excerpt: "..Or go to Allthenutz.com, the Web site that claims to "satisfy the needs of the nutless." There, patriots can buy models that are Proudly Made in the U.S.A. Not to be outdone, Bullsballs.com claims to be "The Foremost Truck Balls Company in the World!" That's a bold statement in the high-stakes world of synthetic bull testicle salesmen, but then, to paraphrase David Mamet, "It takes brass balls to sell brass balls." (Apologies to Alec Baldwin.) Yournutz.com even sells POW-MIA sets, on which they have "respectfully placed the black ribbon," and you can also purchase a pink breast-cancer-awareness set. Pick up a pair and they'll donate $10 for research. I could go on listing places to buy these things, but I'm trying to hang on to the last shred of dignity I have left after writing this story.." Thanks, C! A |

06 Aug 08 - 11:01 AM (#2406563) Subject: RE: BS: Truck Accessories From: pdq Rude and offensive. Probably illegal in some states such as California. It is illegal there to have a sign on your car that can make other drivers angry or has offensive words. Roads are public property and driving on them is a privalege, not a right. |

06 Aug 08 - 04:43 PM (#2406955) Subject: RE: BS: Truck Accessories From: gnu pdq... I would think that any sign or decoration of any type would be a distraction and, therefore, a safety issue. I move that all vehicles are painted only flat black and have no such things as chrome nor signs nor adornments of any kind. Only then will the roadways be safe for our children. |

06 Aug 08 - 08:27 PM (#2407153) Subject: RE: BS: Truck Accessories From: pdq gnu...in case you are serious about debating this subject, here is a fact. Some states, such as California, have laws that prohibit racially offensive bumper stickers and those intended to cause another driver to become angry. It is also possible for a car's paint job to be illegal, as one that has graphic paintings of genitals or violence. The cop can write a ticket and you have the right to go to court and appeal. |

He loves them of course......very popular here in the great unwashed midwest. But as Q says, each generation has some silly-ass idea of virility. When I was 23 or 24 I pulled into a pizza joint parking lot driving a '68 Shelby convertible. I was wearing faded jeans, a cowboy hat, and a white t-shirt with Hooker Headers emblazoned of the front with a pack of Camels rolled in the sleeve. As I slid up and over the door, some old guy (about 60 aka my current age) heading for his car says with a grin, "Son, you're an American original." Yep......Every generation has their own thing.......Bring on the balls!!!! Spaw |
