He only remembered a few lines of the songs, and not the title or anything. But, miraculously I was able to find the song here at mudcat! Someone else had been searching for the same song last June, of all things, and Brakn you posted the lyrics. You said the song was an old music hall song, about "Obadiah" by Muarice Scott and Alf E. He learned it in daycare and he's now 20. It made such an impression on him that he's been looking for his old cassette with this song. We used to sing it when I took him to the park and I was pushing him on the swing. He loved this song.
