Can this be possible or am I just dreaming. It was not buzzing or anything so does the paper maker label affect the sound of a guitar or somehow interfere with the vibrations of the wood? I know the old Martins do not have a label but have the mark embossed on the inside bracing is this the reason? hmmmmm |

Classicals are made of pretty thin wood to start with. The darn label is large .. |

I suppose that the label would have a theoretical effect on the vibration of the guitar back, but whether this would be detectable by most people is questionable. |

I think it may have had a slight buzz or dead sound flopping around inside. I was just playing and that is what is different I think I bet you are right it just wasn't loud enough to notice what was different. Typically when we hear a buzz from a fret we really know it. I think it was just flopping around in there doing something that normally not notice. |
