CDNow lists 14 CD's not including "greatest hits". At 12 songs per CD thats 168 songs. And he has produced more albums than those listed. Nevertheless, that's a lot of songs. Add to that the songs he has written but not recorded himself. There are a number of these in his first songbook. Also he is frequently writing little songs about the hot topics of the day that are constantly changing and often don't survive long enough to become parts of albums. He often refers to them as his "short shelf life songs". I would not hazard a guess as to what his total song production has been. rich r |
