With the use of some very rare archives and current players we trace the history of the instrument by recordings from about 1850 to the present day on a 3CD collection.This project was started at the end of 2005 so it has been a long hard journey. He had originally imported it for one of his students and was disappointed that the student had not persevered. In fact, there was almost no sign of use. He was far beyond my skill level [even at present] but was very patient. |
