I had a song published

I say "I", we three.

Mind you this is in Simply Knitting Magazine. Sept 11th.

I guess they came across my website and thought it would be a little fillip for the crochety lot.

Knittershanty (bottom of page)

Of course it has been published before in Folkwrite and Somers Journal.

Usually I get threatened with Keel Hauling by the sisterhood.

Great. I'll pass it along to my knitting friends.

AAARRRGH! Content filter is keeping me from "seeing" the shanty. But I can get around that at home.

Mr. Red? Can I post it to my knitting group on Yahoo?

Good one, Mr. Red. A very appropriate shanty for the Getaway given the number of knitters at any given session.

Of course - post the URL here so I can visit and look.

Same for other avenues/'Catters. As long as I have the URL.

I have been singing it out locally and not found any readers of Simply Knitting Magazine. Yet.

Me famous? Ha! Mind you I can't be infamous - not with a name like mine. There is no hiding. Which might explain a few things.

I got me one published too, Rogues March
I did send e-mail to publishers as I was worried it would be seen as "traditional"
